The nL Universe mode is one of the craziest lore driven stories in all of wrestling video games. Starting with the nL 2014 Rando PPV series, the universe mode has expanded over the years, jumping back in time, forward in time, and combining universes, making figuring out details like champions and stuff completely difficult to document. This page is dedicated from trying to organize the events of this beloved series chronologically.

The Beginning of the nL WWE (30 Years of Wrestlemania)[]
The earliest known show of the nL WWE is the first Wrestlemania. Only one match happened at this event, with Hulk Hogan defeating Randy Savage and Dusty Rhodes in the first ever Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. The following year at Wrestlemania II, TLC 2 took place and it was the worst match ever. In this match Andre the Giant defeated King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd and Razor Ramon. At Wrestlemania III, Bruno Sammartino defeated Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Rick Rude in an Extreme Rules match after slamming Savage through Hogan through a table.
After three Wrestlemanias nL decided it was time to crown their first ever WWE Champion at Wrestlemania IV, and in a flaming tables match no less. At this event Virgil of all people came out on top, defeating Rick Rude, Ted DiBiase and Shawn Michaels to be crowned the first WWE Champion. Following this event Wrestlemania V was expected to happen with the Mega Powers exploding. However no records of any events happening after Wrestlemania IV can be found, and as such it can only be speculated how long Virgil held the WWE Championship.
The Nude Generation (2007 Universe)[]
At some point between Wrestlemania IV and Backlash 2007, many big changes occured in nL WWE. Bam Bam Bigelow managed to take over the company from Vince McMahon, at the same time revealing that Shane McMahon was actually Bam Bam's son. Following the death of United States Champion Eddie Guerrero at the hands of Vito, Bam Bam decided to reboot the entire WWE at Backlash, rendering all championships vacant (presumably stripping Virgil of the WWE Championship at the same time for not defending it for 19 years).
