Jesus Dondelinger (pronounced Hey Zeus, but you can call him Jesus) is a professional wrestler currently employed by WWE, competing on its NXT brand.
History Before WWE[]
Prior to being signed by WWE, Jesus was a massive star in Japan, having main evented the Tokyo Dome for both New Japan Pro Wrestling and the World Cup for soccer, the latter of which he won all by himself. Jesus was also the mentor of up and coming rookie Kazuchika Okada, to whom he taught the Rainmaker.
WWE (2015-Present)[]
On April 1st 2015 (approximately) Jesus was signed to a developmental contract for NXT. After several weeks of training, which led to Jason Albert being assaulted multiple times physically and mentally (by being called a nerd). Jesus was brought up to the NXT roster, where he faced off against Finn Balor and Hideo Itami in a tag team match with Baron Corbin as his partner. This match was won after Jesus refused to take the Coup de Grace and legitemetaly knocked out Finn Balor with the Rainmaker. The next week Jesus won a match against Neville, but Tyler Breeze inserted himself as a manager for Neville. The next week on NXT, the two faced off in the ring for the first time. This first of many matches was won by Jesus after he hit Tyler Breeze with the nerdkiller. This rivalry between Tyler and Jesus raged on until the June Week 4 edition of NXT Takeover Arrival, where Jesus pinned Tyler for the win.
